Xavier Siméon will next seiozen come true in the brand new, electric MotoE championship. That made his team Reale Avintia Racing and management agency, Zelos Saturday morning collectively known.
Siméon will be there for Esponsorama on the side of the 22-year-old Brazilian Eric Granado drive. The MotoE has five GP’s, in Le Mans (may 19), at the Sachsenring (July 7), in Spielberg (11 August) and in Misano (september 15).
“The transition from Xavier Siméon to MotoE is a new milestone in his career”, explained Zelos-CEO Freddy Tacheny. “Just like DORNA, we believe in the development of that category. Xavier finally gets the chance to be with equal weapons, racing, and so are the qualities and experience to show. In addition, Zelos continued hammering at the program of Xavier Siméon for the next season, that will not be limited to that one category and are five GP’s.”
Siméon showed themselves very enthusiastic. “Without a doubt, this is an important step in my career. I look forward to it with a complete new generation of motors racing. I’ve been months thinking about this career move. At my age (29 years, red) it is important to make the right decisions. I have a year of MotoGP experience. It was not such a successful year, and therefore I am glad now a new adventure with my team. I can’t wait for the first day of testing to see what we can achieve. The motors will be different, but the level of riders will certainly be as high as in other categories. First, I still have four races ahead in the MotoGP, in which I tried my very best go do some score points.”
